Your Healthy Blue benefits
Nothing is more important than keeping you and your family healthy. We offer the care you need, plus extra benefits just for our members.
Eligible Healthy Blue members can receive no-cost extra benefits, such as:
Extras to assist with maternal and infant care
- Gift card to purchase items that support a healthy pregnancy and a healthy environment for baby (diapers, car seat, etc.)
- Home-delivered meals post-delivery
Extras to help improve chronic conditions
- Item from asthma and COPD catalog (travel nebulizer, compressor systems, etc.)
- Fresh Food Connect benefit for adults living with diabetes
- Voucher for WW® (formerly Weight Watchers) for those diagnosed with obesity
- Emotional Well-Being – online mental health resources designed to help members cope with emotional health issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, chronic pain, insomnia, and managing drugs or alcohol
Other extra benefits
- Youth Club Membership card to use toward fees at youth clubs such as Boys & Girls Clubs, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and 4-H Club
- Connection to local community-based programs, benefits, and services, such as affordable housing, food security, employment, and other social determinants of health (SDOH) to increase independence and stability resources, such as food, financial, and home assistance
- Non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) to a WIC appointment, birthing class, Methadone clinic, and more

How to join Healthy Blue
Apply for MO HealthNet benefits
Visit myDSS and choose “Apply for Health Benefits”
Use the pre-screening tool, then follow the prompts to create an account. You may receive a message saying you are not eligible. You should still fill out and submit your application by choosing "next" on the screen.
Complete the online application
You can apply for MO HealthNet at any time. Enrollment is year-round.
After you are approved for benefits, you’ll be assigned to a health plan. You can choose a different health plan using one of the ways listed below.

In the first 90 days of enrollment in MO HealthNet Managed Care (see your member handbook for reasons that may allow you to change after your 90 days)
